Most of the famous granite objects and buildings we know today were already there since the last ice age, more than 12800 years ago, left behind by a civilization with advanced methods and techniques to mass-produce granite vases, statues, pyramids, temples, obelisks, etcetera, with extreme precision. Granite was simply too hard, dense and heavy to be properly handled, transported, cut, shaped and polished by the ancient Egyptians.
